Launch of the ecodesk user portal

Dear All,

On 1 August 2024, we will be launching a new EasyVista module: the ecodesk user portal.

This portal allows you to:

  • be autonomous in the creation and monitoring of your incident tickets and requests,
  • reduce the processing time of your tickets by our teams by improving workflows,
  • access recent and useful IT information,
  • benefit from an improved user experience and better customer satisfaction,
  • improve the time taken to process your tickets by service desk agents with the reduction of ticket creation by email.

We advise you to use the ecodesk portal now in order to quickly familiarise yourself with it and to allow us in the medium term to delete requests made by email to the address servicedesk@econocom.com.

In parallel, we will initially maintain the possibility of creating tickets by email. Once the ecodesk solution has proven itself, the objective will be to move exclusively via the ecodesk portal or by calling the service desk.

We will keep you informed of the next steps and developments of your portal.

Yours sincerely,

Workplace IT Group team

Cyber Cleanup Week Challenge

Because we’re a Responsible Digital Entrepreneur, our clients, partners and colleagues expect concrete action from us on the environment and society. To mark European Sustainable Development Week 2023, which is running from now to 8 October, Econocom is getting involved with the third edition of its Cyber Cleanup Week challenge.

What is Cyber Cleanup Week?

Cyber Cleanup Week is a challenge aimed at organising a digital cleanup of data and thus reducing our collective environmental impact. In concrete terms, it’s about cleaning up our mailboxes to reach the goal of reducing our digital environmental footprint by 7%, i.e. deleting 10 million emails in two weeks! It’s ambitious but perfectly achievable! Last year we managed to delete 5 million emails!

What’s in it for us?

Firstly, a significant reduction in our digital environmental footprint! Secondly, a result that we can be proud to reveal to our clients, our partners or our future talents and that will reinforce our leadership.

Why mobilise?

Because our daily actions – which seem to be few – strongly contribute to this crucial issue today! Imagine: every email, every search or every video consumes energy and generates greenhouse gas emissions. On a global level, the impact of digital technology is between 2% and 4.3% of total CO2 emissions and between 5 and 10% of total electricity consumption depending on the source!

So, ready for our challenge? Over to you!
