As we celebrate the European Sustainable Development Week, we met with V\u00e9ronique di Benedetto, Vice President France, to discuss our CSR positioning as a Responsible Digital Entrepreneur<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

It’s the first day of Sustainable Development Week! What is going to happen at Econocom?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

This week is going to be full of actions around CSR and responsible digital with the Cyber cleanup week<\/em>, a new challenge with an ambitious collective objective of reducing our digital environmental footprint by 5% (10M emails) at the group level.<\/span><\/p>\n

We are committed to CSR. But what does this mean in concrete terms and on a daily basis for our external audiences? <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

CSR is at the heart of the group’s news, embodied in particular by our Chairman, who has given two interviews on the subject in recent weeks. And in particular because it must, more than ever, be integrated into the business. In concrete terms, several offers are available to our customers: Watt’s green, Ecotwice, Ecocarbon, Product care …. And others are still to come in the near future.<\/span><\/p>\n

All our businesses must now develop their offers by integrating a “responsible” component from their design, native CSR offers in a way!<\/span><\/p>\n

Beyond our offers, the circular economy is at the heart of our business processes, from upstream to downstream, with the reconditioning, on a rental basis, of 95% of our equipment, 88% of which is provided by companies in the social and solidarity economy. In services too, the circular economy makes sense: downstream with eco-design, for example, or in terms of use, with appropriate and optimised management of our customers’ assets.<\/span><\/p>\n

Finally, this has been in the group’s DNA since its creation!<\/span><\/p>\n

And internally?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

At Econocom, we have reduced our carbon footprint by 49.70% over the last three years. Our responsibility takes shape at all levels, here are a few examples:<\/span><\/p>\n
