Nearly 700 people in 10 cities across France took part in a rugby-themed afterwork event on 14 September. The celebratory get-together demonstrated our French colleaguesâ fondness for the real beautiful game. And, of course, for a national side that has big ambitions for its home World Cup…
The atmosphere was incredible with an infectious energy running through the ten host cities. Smiles were broad and spirits were high. The feedback on all our sites was clear: what a joy to come together after the summer break and a pleasure to support âLes Bleusâ during a lively second half of the evening!

In the rugby heartland of Biarritz, the PS teams set the standard with no fewer than eighty colleagues attending a seminar, and the Puteaux teams connected with their counterparts in the city. There was a special moment when Jean-Louis Bouchard was able to say a few welcome back words from Puteaux. « I feel great, » Econocomâs Chairman said, « and the group is making progress in its projects! »
Unity, perseverance, respect, diversity…
inspiring values for the company

Chief Services Officer Long Le Xuan wore his French jersey from… 1999, the year when France beat the All Blacks at Twickenham in the World Cup semifinal following a heroic match. It was a chance for him, a former player, to reiterate rugbyâs values: unity and togetherness, perseverance, humility, respect for your opponent and diversity, as everyone can get involved no matter what your build, including women. And to stress how these values continue to inspire the company.
And at 21:00, for those who still had energy to spare, the moment had come: the France vs. Uruguay match. An epic sporting occasion shared with colleagues and friends in an electric atmosphere.
Some people wondered on the night if the sweepstake was still running… Launched at the kickoff of the first match, France vs. New Zealand, it has already proved to be very popular, with nearly 800 entrants. Donât worry latecomers, you can join us by following this link: https://econocom.corporico.fr/welcome. And remember that the sweepstake is also open to our Portuguese, British and Italian colleagues, who are still on course to qualify for the next round!
