From solar energy to ice cubes… TMF finances solar panels for the Walter Gott ice production plant in Germany.
Under the Walter Gott Ice Factory brand, the group of medium-sized businesses Walter Gott Produktions GmbH & Co.KG and Walter Gott Handels und Logistik GmbH provides variants of the highest-quality ice. This family-run company specializing in refrigerated logistics boasts several decadesâ experience in ice production. Its clients are primarily self-service supermarkets, wholesale markets, specialist distributors, retailers as well as service station chains. To cut the high costs of ice production, which generates revenue of 1.8 million euros, Walter Gott wanted to invest in a new photovoltaic installation and found the ideal financing partner in TMF.
Financing the energy transition
The bulk of the investment has been allocated to new high-performance refrigeration technology and a photovoltaic installation from the market leader, KĂ€lte Klima Peters.
