Econocom is taking advantage of developments in artificial intelligence with the launch of Oscar. Thanks to this technical proposal creation module, which is supported by OpenAI and Microsoft technologies, the generation of long and tailored documents, particularly for tender bids, has taken a huge leap forward.
Oscar, an incredible technological achievement, can generate documents of dozens, if not hundreds, of pages in just a few seconds. But that’s not all: every document is guaranteed to be free of spelling mistakes and perfectly tailored to the context, client and company.
Over 20% of tender bids
The advance is a godsend for Econocom Products & Solutions, which bids for over 600 public calls for tender every year. « Putting the documents together used to take considerable time, going from two hours to two months depending on the dossiers’ complexity, » clarifies EPS CEO Philippe Goullioud. He continues: « Thanks to Oscar, the teams can now generate masses of documents in seconds, allowing them to concentrate on summarizing the pitches and on proofreading. »
The benefits are significant. EPS France hopes to increase the number of tender bids by 20%, with documents tailored to the clients and zero spelling mistakes. It’s an impressive performance that’s opening up new opportunities for the company.
Oscar’s rapid rollout is thanks to the legendary creativity of Jean-Marc Guyot, Director of Operations and Services, and the cutting-edge technical expertise of Sébastien Bonnet at WII. The ambitious project has been supported by Security Director François-Xavier Vincent, Information Systems Director Philippe Hemmings and their team.
« Econocom far ahead »
Collaboration between EPS, WII, ChatGPT and Microsoft made it possible to develop this innovative solution. Microsoft even recognized that Econocom was far ahead of the game. The project was launched in November 2022 and implemented as early as February 2023, with a beta test version released in June of that year. Handpicked colleagues have had the opportunity to try Oscar, and the initial feedback has been extremely positive.
